Worker’s Cottage Becomes a Rehab Clinic
Worker’s Cottage gets a makeover ready for the Rehabilitation Clinic.
A run down worker’s cottage has been converted into the wildlife clinic and rehabilitation centre.
The small 4 roomed cottage built about 30 years ago, now has an assessment room, treatment/ operating room, recovery/ ICU room, a quarantine room, a lock up pharmacy area, a shower and toilet plus the sanctuary manager’s office. It will be powered by solar energy with some gas for hot water.
The alterations were planned and undertaken in conjunction with the veterinary surgeon, who will play a key role at this centre.
Sponsorship of the solar system, clinic, or donation of second hand veterinary equipment is needed. Please contact the executive director if you can help or would like to be involved in any way.
